SAINTgelina Jolie criticizes planned Quaran burnings.

On Wednesday, the 'Salt' actress Angelina Jolie disapproved a Florida church’s threat to burn copies of the Muslim holy book, The 'Quran' to mark the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

She took time out of her Pakistan trip, (which she is on to raise awareness about the floods that have ruined the Muslim country over the last six weeks.) to speak out against the proposed burnings.

Jolie’s criticism is the same of top U.S. officials, who have described the church’s plan as a disgraceful act. They also said that it could endanger Americans.

The 35-year-old actress told reporters in Islamabad after visiting refugees camps in northwestern Pakistan:
“I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book,”
The nut job who's organizing the burning, Pastor Terry Jones, has said he plans to go ahead in spite of concerns. He is part of the Dove World Outreach Center, a Christian church in Gainesville, Florida, with an anti-Islam philosophy.

On the Church's website, there are blogs which include,

  • 10 reasons to Burn the Quran
  • 5 more reasons to burn the Quran
  • Islam is Cursed by Cursing Israel; we are Blessed by Blessing Israel
  • Honest Confessions from Muslim Scholars
They also sell 'Islam is of the devil' shirts and mugs.

I just have one question; Is this what Jesus would do?
